Unexplained Explosion At New York Nuclear Power Plant Triggers Shutdown 

Witnesses have documented what was called a “huge explosion” at a transformer at the Indian Point nuclear power plant via a Twitter feed. The plant is located just north of New York City, and was large enough to cause the operator to shut down the impacted unit.

“In what witnesses described as a huge explosion, a transformer at the Indian Point nuclear power plant just north of New York City caught on fire Saturday, billowing smoke and prompting the operator to shut down the impacted unit.”

New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo, said that in the aftermath of the blaze at Indian Point, firefighters extinguished the flames with a “special kind of foam.”

Update: Man Who Punched Toddler In The Face In Viral Video Has Been Arrested 

As previously reported at The Daily Sheeple, video has now gone viral of a man punching a toddler in the face in a Bakersfield convenience store.

In the video, the toddler, probably aged around 3 or 4 years old, is seen running through a grocery store as his father comes running after him.

When the child realizes his dad is chasing him he slows down and puts his hands up as if he knows a violent outburst is coming. A split second later the man takes a swing at the child, hits him in the face, and knocks him to the floor.

The mother then takes the child by the hand, though she seems to ignore the fact that an adult male just smashed her child in the face, and she nonchalantly walks out of the store.
